SUMMER HAIR REGIME

As the summer heat comes to an end, I know the fall wind will be making an appearance soon. With the anticipated climate change, I have realized that my hair will need its last bit of TLC. For the first time in a long time, I haven't put my hair in a protective style. I typically wear my hair in a weave around my birthday. However, this year I decided to get a silk press. That was also because my probate was in the same week but I digress. I've dedicated my coins to one product line finally!

With the use of Mielle Organics, I've watched my hair flourish with an increased curl definition and remain moisturized. I have not complained about having dry hair or having breakage. The following products have become staple favorites in my wash and go technique as well as my braid outs.

1. Pomegranate & Honey Twisting Souffle

If I need a good braid out, I run to this product above anything else. Granted Cantu's Coconut Curling Cream hasn't let me down, this product took first place. The souffle is ranged heavy but it feel light and has slip like a hair milk once applying to the hair. On wash day, I receive about a good three days with this product. The consistency allows for a deep definition. This product is formulated for thick curly hair but can be used on any curl pattern. When we hear a little goes a long way with most YouTubers we assume that isn't a realistic tip. But I am telling you, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. Applying a quarter size will transform a section.

2. Babassu Curl Mousse

The Babassu line resides along the first couple of products Monique Rodriquez released. I use this product when i want maximum definition and volume. it works for wet and dry hair. It serves as a sealant and also conditions. I typically apply the Babassu Curl cream first as a base which is a thick consistency. Two/three pumps coats my hair perfectly. If I am going for a wash and go style this is my go-to.

3. Honey & Ginger Edge Gel

I feel like this product goes without saying to be one of my favorite edge control! It has a conditioning consistency which moisturizes the hair to promote growth while leaving hair manageable. The hold is soft and does not leave residue behind like most edge controls. If I need a sleek look the gel will slay my puff, bun or pony tail.

As a natural, we know that we will have to bend our pockets a bit for the right products. I can definitely defend that Mielle Organics is worth every penny. The products above has lasted me about three months to four months. I think we both can admit that tells you about everything you need.
